
To become a Proudly SA member company, you must demonstrate: local content (at least 50% of production cost incurred in SA), proof of quality by way of certification, and adherence to labour and environmental legislation.
At least 50% of the final production cost must be incurred in South Africa, or imported components must undergo substantial transformation locally. For service companies, local procurement habits are assessed.
Members must provide certification from an accredited verification body, industry association or recognised quality standard (e.g. ISO).
Demonstrated adherence to South African labour legislation and environmental regulations, including fair employment and sustainability practices.

Fees are scaled to company turnover so businesses of every size can afford to belong. Payable upfront, renewable annually (excluding VAT).
